When and where does the event take place?
This year’s event will take place in the evening of april 18th in the forum building in groningen. we will provide an exact timetable before the event.
when will i be able to secure my ticket?
The ticket sale will open on march 28th, 12:00 HRS. be ready, because last year we sold out in just 7 minutes!

we have carefully selected an amazing lineup for this year, be sure to check them out under the speakers tab.
How do i get to the event?
the forum building is located on the new market in the city centre of groningen. the address is nieuwe markt 1, 9712KN.
separated parking underneath the forum building is available for cars as well as bikes. be sure to park your bike in the dedicated parking garage under the Forum building, as you’re not allowed to park your bike in the city centre. if you’re coming by public transport, it’s either a twenty minute walk from the main station, or you can take a bus to the nearest stop, which is the st. jansbrug. plan your trip using the 9292 app.
is this event organized by the official ted organization?
no, tedx events are independently organized events, organized under the license and guidelines of Ted. tedxuniversityofgroningen is organized in collaboration with the university of groningen, by EBF.
what will be included in the ticket?
a ticket gives you access to the live ted talks of six speakers and networking drinks afterwards. a free drink will be provided during the break.
