When and where does the event take place?
This year’s event will take place in the evening of April 17th at the Forum in Groningen. We will provide an exact timetable closer to the event.
when will i be able to secure my ticket?
Ticket sales will open on Friday, March 28th at 1pm / 13.00. Be ready—last year we sold out in just 7 minutes!

How do i get to the event?
The Forum building is located on the Nieuwe Markt in the city centre of Groningen. The address is Nieuwe Markt 1, 9712KN.
Dedicated parking underneath the Forum is available for both cars and bikes. Please make sure to park your bike in the designated parking garage beneath the Forum, as parking bikes in the city centre is not allowed.
If you're coming by public transport, it’s either a 20-minute walk from the main station, or you can take a bus to the nearest stop, which is St. Jansbrug. We recommend using the 9292 app to plan your trip.
is this event organized by the official ted organization?
No, TEDx events are independently organized under the license and guidelines of TED. TEDxUniversityofGroningen is organized in collaboration with the University of Groningen, by EBF.
what will be included in the ticket?
A ticket gives you access to the live TED Talks by six speakers, as well as networking drinks afterward. A free drink will also be provided during the break.
